As Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner, foreigners in Guangdong are experiencing local rites of the festival.
On Friday night, an attractive activity was held in Sun Yet-sen University. Foreign students from School of Chinese as a Second Language were having a great time making snowy moon cakes with Chinese students.
Guo Linlin, monitor of the class said that foreign students are very interested in Chinese culture, and Chinese students also love getting along with them, which make the point of tonight’s activity, to get to know each other better.
Most of them have never made moon cakes before, and probably wouldn’t try if there is no such activity.
Students were divided into six groups. Each group was responsible for respective tasks according to DIY steps. Foreign students and Chinese students were working together to make delicious and delicate snowy moon cakes.
